I will be a New Orleanian no matter where I go. This will always be home. It was bitterly cold this morning but the morning sun was beautiful.

Paddle boats ligned up and waiting.
My photo walk along the Baltimore waterfront turned out some really cool shots.
I was not expecting to end up on a true desert island but Aruba really delivered. The surf on the windward side of the island was not exactly inviting.

I was a little worried but my patience paid off. It turned out to be a great sunrise.

I had to fight the rain to grab this one. It is amazine how a few hundred feet can change the weather out here. It was not raining up on the hill.

Waking up early is hard but gettin to the beach before anyone else certainly has its perks. The sunrise on Huntington Beach was a great reward.
It seems that we once again find ourselves in need of someone to bring our nation together.
A New Dawn
This bitterly cold morning in December yeilded at beautiful sinrise even over a nation deeply divided. This reminds me that the dawn will still come.

Metal from the World Trade Center in New York. I will never forget where I was and who I was with watching the planes slam into them.

Sometimes when you go trying to find that epic sunset you find a more interesting subject, especially when the sunset is not that epic.
Seattle's Pike Place Market
While I am fully aware it is a tourist trap, it is iconic and I love walking through the market when I am in town.
Keep trying. It took me 2 trips to Seattle and 5 trips to Kerry Park to finally get this one. It was definatly wroth it.
The Light is On
I have always felt drawn to the sea. Maybe that is one of the reasons I love the PNW so much. The West Point Lighthouse is one of the hidden gems of Discovery Park in Seattle.
